Diving Tenerife, El Meridian

Depth 10-30m Level Advanced. The Meridian first sank in Los Christanous harbour, early Nov 2005, was re-floated towed out and sunk again close to the Caves at Palm Mar, where she now rests at 28m.

Supposedly used as one of the early whale watching boats she is a wooden hulled vessel with steel topside some 40M in length with the rigging and crows nest still intact. The bridge can be easily penetrated where wiring consoles and radar units are still intact.The engine room is a little tighter fit. Frequently we have shoals of tuna, sardines along with resident Queen Trigger Fish and Grouper, passing stingrays and Angel Sharks.
