Tenerife Scuba Training Philosophy

"Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice" - Anton Chekhov.

At Tenerife Scuba our goal is to train people to become safe, confident divers. Theory is important as it forms the basis of the physical skills you learn during any course. Like any skill though you get good at it by practice and repetition which is called “Going Diving” Just because you have done a course, got a card it doesn’t make you’re a better diver. Maybe What you need to do is get some more experience!

Advanced Open Water and beyond or, a suggestion from the experienced

"If you are a doing continuing education course, Advanced Open Water or beyond why not give yourself a day before you start the course and have a pre-course diving day."

Even experienced divers, who dive regularly, when they change diving environments/locations they know it will take couple of dives to settle down and fully relax. There is a lot going on maybe they are using different equipment than they are used to, the need to get weighting sorted out and all dive centers run slightly differently.

So why not make you life easy and get the most out of your course.
